About

Hello, I am Weifeng Wu.

I am a PhD student at the Department of Big Data Science, Korea University, advised by
Prof. Jai Woo Lee at the CDS Lab.

With a rigorous background in Statistics (B.Sc., Simon Fraser University) and practical experience as a tech entrepreneur, I have developed a unique perspective on data science. I believe that the most powerful AI solutions emerge from the intersection of solid statistical theory and agile engineering.

Currently, I am exploring reasoning in large language models, with a particular interest in chain-of-thought methods and the evaluation of model reasoning. My broader goal is to understand how AI systems reason and how to make their outputs more reliable and useful in real-world settings.
